FOCOS program started in 2010 and is offered in partnership with FOCOS EU.
Europe, North America and Asia are currently three places where the training is offered every year. The program is also offered in Spanish
In Cru we have started FOCOS in 2015 with the first group of staff in Central and Eastern Europe.
Since then around 150 staff from 15 countries from our region have gone through the Foundational Coaching Training.
As a result we have been able to coach thousands of people from students to business professionals.
Our team of international coach trainers have partnered with FOCOS Platform, helping Cru leaders & volunteers, other ministry leaders, and business entrepreneurs integrate coaching skills into their unique contexts. The Foundational Coaching Skills course (FOCOS) is designed for people who desire to enhance their leadership, discipleship, as well as their interpersonal or business skills. Coaching is a relational partnership and skill set that empowers people to achieve growth and change.
Creators: Wolfgang Jani, master trainer is an ICF professional certified coach (PCC) and founded the FOCOS training in 2010 together with Tina Stolzfus.
Participants: More than 600 trainees, staff from 61 countries attended the FOCOS program. Those who reported their coaching hours, have provided at least 7,000 hours, to over 1,260 missionaries. They have provided coaching in at least 14 languages in over 66 countries.
Trainers: Cristina Dragomir is the Lead trainer who is a certified PCC coach. Lynn Kesler and Elvis & Alina Filote are co-trainers, life and leadership coaches and trainer coaches. Zina Herman, Ana Maria Barbu and Milena Jakimovska are apprentices with the FOCOS program.
